About Us
Early childhood experiences shape a child's development socially, emotionally and intellectually. Children are naturally creative and curious. Our professional teachers are skilled at creating an environment in which children are encouraged to think and ask questions. This helps to build their confidence and fosters self esteem. Keyboard Kids provides a fun and educationally sound program which celebrates the imagination and spontaneity of children and their willingness to learn by doing.
Keyboard Kids also provides many social opportunities for our children. Parents, teachers and students are a family at Keyboard Kids. We host many school-wide events each year, which bring together all those people who are important to your child. Most importantly, we believe in allowing children the freedom to express themselves through play. We nurture our students and help them to develop strong self esteem and a sense of independence. We encourage friendship and acceptance among all of our students.Our Story
"We love kids and we love what we do!" That is the sentiment of Louise Kauders and Janet FioRito at Keyboard Kids Pre-School and Kindergarten. They are cousins and also co-directors of the school since its inception in 1991.
Louise is a graduate of Kean University with a BA in English and Janet, a University of Vermont graduate, majored in Early Childhood Education. Together they had a vision. Teach young children in a fun, caring, nurturing environment and they will thrive. Thousands of students have blossomed at Keyboard Kids in the last 28 years!
Family run and hands on is only part of their success. "We have teachers who are exceptional and believe in the philosophy of Keyboard Kids." Children learn by doing, and we celebrate their spontaneity and imagination. Our lessons are filled with creative ways to spark their minds and make them think. Children are an amazing example of happiness and fun! If we allow them to be themselves than we have done our job!
